This is a newsletter from the CEO of YDRF
On April 5 and 6, five psws and three ydrf staff coverged on reno Nevada. Put it like this, 60 youth and 40 young adults will never be the same.
Perhaps the greatest impact was on us. We witnessed the bonding of our madera and Los angeles psws. We witnessed psws working hard to promote life, freedom and future economic opportunity in small groups comprised of each of 12 of their peers.
What I saw brought tears to my eyes. I saw Stephen sweat as he tried to explain how to avoid negative people connection. I saw Tony stand firm in his peer group as other youth tired to justify gang affiliation.
I also saw three Krump kings smile and dance their way into the hearts of everyone there, including me.
I saw Young learn while teaching. I saw General love his fellow peers that he would not rest till the one lone wolf in his group was engaged. I saw bad news avoid the advances of the opposite sex and still keep it professional.
I stand in awe of God's awesome power of love, peer influence and truth. Please join me in congratulating all psws, especially our new krump kings, and staff who made this event an incredible success.
I stand for all of us as we pray to God to bless each one of them and their families. Let us add bad news' mother to our prayers who iis sick. Also pray for brother dewayne in thee hard times.
